Nesher Rise International partners with schools, religious institutions, and youth organizations to design and deliver resilience education, life skills learning, and mentorship programs that help young people understand themselves, communicate honestly, and lead with confidence.
Our primary clients are secondary schools across Nairobi and Kenya. We also work with NGOs, corporates, and community organizations through our standalone workshops and L&D Advisory services. If you are an institution serious about building resilience in your people, we would like to talk.
Nesher Rise is a social enterprise, which means we are financially self sustaining, commercially structured, and mission driven. We charge institutional fees for our services because that model creates continuity, accountability, and quality that grant funded programs cannot sustain. A portion of our annual surplus is reinvested through our Access Fund to reach schools and students who cannot afford the full program fee.
We are currently active in Nairobi and Kiambu, with expansion to Mombasa and other urban centers planned for 2026. A national footprint is targeted from 2027, with East Africa regional expansion from 2028.
Resilience Labs is Nesher Rise International's flagship annual school programme. It delivers 36 structured sessions per year across all three school terms, alongside teacher capacity building workshops, parent orientation sessions, a safeguarding framework review, and quarterly Behavioural Health Reports for school leadership. It is a complete institutional system, not a one off intervention.
The 36 session curriculum spans five evidence informed competency domains. Emotional Literacy, identifying, naming, and regulating emotions. Behavioral Self Regulation, impulse control, conflict resolution, and de escalation. Growth Mindset and Resilience, responding to failure, adversity, and change. Healthy Relationships, peer dynamics, boundaries, empathy, and communication. Safeguarding Awareness, recognizing unsafe situations and knowing how to seek help.
The program runs across all three school terms, 12 sessions per term, 36 in total. Sessions are scheduled in alignment with your school's existing timetable with no disruption to core academic learning. Each school is assigned a dedicated Lead Facilitator responsible for delivery and relationship management.
Every school is assigned a dedicated Nesher Rise Lead Facilitator. All facilitators are recruited from psychology, social work, education, and counselling backgrounds, and complete a structured Nesher Rise Certified Facilitator training before deployment. Monthly supervision sessions ensure programme fidelity and facilitator well being throughout the year.
Every contracting school receives 6 teacher capacity building workshops annually, 2 parent orientation sessions, a safeguarding framework review aligned to Kenya's Children's Act 2022, and a quarterly Behavioral Health Report, your school's own data on student well being, incident trends, and programme impact.
Yes. The CBC explicitly prioritizes life skills, values, and holistic development. Resilience Labs is designed to complement and strengthen these goals, building the emotional and behavioral foundation that makes academic learning possible. We speak the CBC language because we were built in the Kenyan educational context.

The content, facilitation quality, and outcomes are the same across both formats. The difference is logistics. In person workshops are delivered at your school or organization, ideal for teams that benefit from being physically together. Online sessions are delivered live via Zoom or Google Meet, accessible from anywhere, with no travel required.
Workshops are available in two formats, half day sessions running approximately three hours, and full day sessions running approximately six hours including breaks. The right format depends on your topic, your audience, and how much depth you want to go into.
In person workshops work best with groups of 15 to 40 participants. Online sessions can accommodate larger groups, though we cap live facilitated sessions at 60 participants to maintain quality and interaction. For larger organizations, we can arrange multiple sessions or a series.
